Diese Worte von Spring möchte ich gleich in englisch belassen.
The first tree that I ever used to create flutes was an ancient fire-killed cedar that fell near my home. I am now working through the last 20 or so flute bodies from that first tree. I recently went up to the spot where I first found this wonderful gift, to bring down the last log, only to find another surprise. The first tree was one of a group of six fire-killed cedars standing in a circle. I have come to call them "the sisters". Now a second Tree of the six has begun to fall slowly to the ground, leaning on a nearby fir tree. The timing is more than coincidental.
For some time I have been marveling at the abundance of the first tree. I didn't keep an exact count of how many flutes it produced, but I am quite confident it is well over five hundred. My plan is to number all the flutes from this second gift tree, and keep a running tally. I sat down on the last log and played one of the first flutes I ever made - and while I played a thought came into my head. "If I am going to number it, I should probably name it as well, but what?" The answer came quite clearly to me ... "Peace. My name is Peace".

I couldn't have come up with a better name. I have been wanting to put out more of a message with the flutes and there it was. My intention is to bring more peace to the planet. It is my hope that everyone who gives or receives a Cedar Spirit Flute will feel the energy behind it. My dream is that others will hear the soft, gentle melodies floating on the breeze and if only for a moment feel peace in their hearts. With the gift of this new tree I am about to begin sending pieces of Peace throughout the world. It is my way of saying thanks to the Cedar Spirit, Peace, and you.
Thank you for helping me bring more music into the world, especially into the hands of those who never thought they could hold a tune. Thanks for the opportunity to do what I truly love doing. Thanks for spreading this very simple message that is so desperately needed in the world at this time. Peace, Spring |
